Born in an ordinary family in a village and completing my schooling nearby, I grew up seeing the struggles that women face in everyday life. From limited opportunities to unrecognized sacrifices, I understood early how difficult it is for women in our society to live with dignity and equality. Yet I also believe that women hold the power to change this reality. If we, as women, step forward as leaders, we can light the way for others and shape a stronger, more inclusive society. True change must begin at the grassroots — by nurturing women leaders in villages, towns, and communities who can guide, inspire, and empower others. This can begin better when we come forward to instill this spirit in the kinds of young girls; our own school going daughters.
